Yes, Im really running a half marathon (13 miles), but its for a good
reason!!

I have joined with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Team in Training
(TNT) and have pledged to raise over $1000 for research to work towards a
cure for blood cancers. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society mission is to
cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin disease and myeloma, and improve the
quality of life of patients and their families.

I will be running the race to honor my good friend from college, Ryan, who has been living with non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and Papillary
Thyroid Cancer for eight years. He has been through two surgeries, 12
treatments, and continues his battle everyday, with an enduring love for
life and positive outlook. I am also running for my local honored
teammate Stacey, who was diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous
Leukemia in May, 2004.

I am so excited to be involved with an event where over 75% of the
donations that I raise are dedicated to research and to support patients
and their families. I want to try to exceed that minimum because 100% of
the funds I raise over the $1000 mark will go directly to work to cure
cancer and save lives! For those we love, those we have lost, and those
living with cancer, please consider making a tax-deductible donation.
Your donation of any amount will help me to reach my goal and help to
save lives.

Thank you so much for your support, I will see you at the finish line!
love- Amy
